TRAXXfm’s Lights of Ramadan is a Corporate Service Responsibility program that has been organized by TRAXXfm to celebrate and uplift the less-fortunate, and also persons from marginalised communities.
TRAXXfm’s Lights of Ramadan invites 40 orphan kids from Persatuan Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal Nur Hikmah. The Persatuan Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal Nur Hikmah manages the welfare and needs of orphans and single mothers, and they work with the local community to carry out joint activities. They are located at Taman Medan, Petaling Jaya.
TRAXXfm’s Lights of Ramadan is a fun event with performances by artists such as Qiszabelle, and The Figure Sound Acoustic buskers. The orphans are taken on a tour of RTM radio broadcasting studios. TRAXXfm will also contribute needful items and Duit Raya to Persatuan Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal Nur Hikmah. The event will be concluded with the breaking of fast.
This event aims to bring the community closer to the less fortunate and also to foster unity amongst the listeners of the station. Not only serving as an information and entertainment station to the people, but to create awareness and bring light of those who are in need.
The true meaning of Ramadan shall take place at every heart of the orphans as they have a good time celebrating with TRAXXfm and hopefully this celebration will light a spark in their hearts.
