The TRAXXfm program - Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang is a radio program hosted by TRAXXfm. This program is a collaboration with Jabatan Penyiaran Perak and took place from the 15th to the 17th of August 2023.
It features RTM radio personalities from TRAXXfm and PERAKfm, with singer Zahid. A total of 660 Jalur Gemilang were distributed to the public. The Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang team made stops at selected stops to entertain the public. Live reports, FB Live from the location, a live recording of the National Day greetings, and TRAXXfm’s special documentary on VAT69 were part of the activities planned.
The Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang kicked off from Wisma Radio Angkasapuri at 7.00 am before heading to the first stop at Jabatan Penyiaran Perak to start the Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign at the department. This saw the TRAXXfm Assistant Station manager handed over the Jalur Gemilang to the Director of Jabatan Penyiaran Perak, who then handed over the Jalur Gemilang to be raised by the auxiliary police. This was followed by the distribution of Jalur Gemilang to the staff of Jabatan Penyiaran Perak.
The second location was at the Rural Transformation Center (RTC) Perak, where the team joined the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) Perak and started yet another Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign and distribute the Jalur Gemilang and other goodies.
The third location was at the Amazing Camp Legacy in Lenggong, Perak, where a half-day program with 40 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Raban took place on the 16th of August, 2023. This included a motivational talk about patriotism by VAT69 veterans and an “Introduction to the World of Radio” talk by TRAXXfm and PERAKfm presenters.
There will also be a fun group activity, a hands-on DJ Corner, and a patriotic song jam session.
TRAXXfm Assistant Manager Niswani Ahwang said the TRAXXfms’ Aspirasi Merdeka Fly the Jalur Gemilang program aims to fuel the spirit of patriotism among the community by flying the Jalur Gemilang in conjunction with the 66th National Day celebration and fostering the spirit of unity. This program shows the commitment of RTM and TRAXXfm, in particular, to strengthening the relationship between public broadcasters and the people to continue to be a source of authentic information and quality entertainment. It is also a platform for promoting RTM radio stations, in addition to establishing cooperative relationships between radio stations under RTM. Through the program, TRAXXfm hopes to strengthen its relationships with stakeholders, especially TRAXXfm listeners and the public. This program will be a platform for TRAXXfm and Radio RTM to continue contributing to all walks of life.
